Re: June 4th is National Applesauce Cake Day - so, a recipe!

Chili cream cheese makes me sneeze. Jalapeno brings me to my knees. But applesauce Now that's a delight. I might stand a tiny scrumptious bite. Recipes looks awesome, and I think I might give it a go the next time I decide to go into my kitchen. I don't like it there. Too many crack the pots and suc...

Oh my, yaralindi, that could be on his tombstone. Lovely phrase. Thanks for remembering it and sharing it.

Re: Home....

Thank you my friend. I think Peter has to build his own theme park. Disney likes to 'own' it all.

My little one and my favorite was the 'bizarre' barrel ride. We watch it time and again on YouTube.

Re: Home....

Many thx. :friends:

I loved the Hobbit. After knowing what PJ did to Faramir and such, I decided to go with no expectations. Just pure enjoyment. It made it fun. Of course, I made sure to remind my granddaughter at every deviation. She enjoyed it too. How about you?

Re: Another Sad Passing - RIP Christopher Lee

Getting too old. My fondest memories of the 'bad' wizard are of the Dracula movies, Sherlock Holmes movies especially the Hound of the Baskervilles the Mummy, and on and on..... I'd forgotten about him until the trilogy came out and then recalled with fondness the many hours I spent watching him and...

Home....

Of course, when I heard about Christopher Lee, my first thoughts were of 'old' friends and laughter and creativity and love. Drew me back here. Not that I haven't lurked, now and again. It feels so like home. Just reading a few of the posts. Names so dear and familiar to me. Remembrances of those wh...

Re: Remembering Vison

Canada - blessed Canada. So many from this board seized the opportunity and met together there. First time for most of us to meet.

Vison carried herself well. No shy wallflower. Forceful and fierce and beloved. She could make you feel special just be walking next to her swishing skirts!

The especially wonderful thing about birthdays - they bring friends together again.

I miss you all terribly. Still trying to get my great American tale published.

Bless you ten thousand times for your kind wishes. :stars: :confetti: :sun: :bop:

Bless your sweet, sweet heart, Strange Elf! Thank you. I thought I was seeing things when I got an email notification. Then I saw the date as 2009 and I giggled. THEN - I saw your precious note. Bless you, ten thousand times! :curtsey:

Bless you. Better late than never. That's why I love these archives. I can find new things all the time and savor old 'good' tales.

Thank you and may you always smile through your tears.
