As he said, it was a burden and one that almost destroyed him, thankfully he had Sam to bring him back from that ledge, both literally and figuratively. And, I always thought it was so sweet of Frodo to look back and smile with such peace in his eyes when he boarded the Elven ship to leave Middle-earth. It showed how much he loved them in that he wanted to let them know that he was going to be alright and to not worry about him anymore.
Thanks for sharing this!
Just one question, does the poem have a title?

A title...theres an Idea, do I have to do everything.... ;-)
Well, it is your poem, so if you want to leave it untitled, it is your choice! It could be "Untitled LOTR Poem, Number 1.

LoL it really does have a title. Something like
"The Colors of the End"
Since I submitted it to the "colors" summer poetry contest.
At the last moment he turned back, it was Frodo the darkness and pain were gone...
His healing had begun.

The way the words flow together in this poem is great! I really liked it!

Very moving, and haunting. You are an excellent writer, keep it up. I do so envy those of you who can write. I can barely read.
I am no man.
