Open house at halavana's library
Greetings! It's been a while since I posted anything and frankly, I've lost track of who might be interested in what. Therefore, I'm holding an open house thread for my homepage. Location as follows:
http://homepage.mac.com/halavana/Menu1.html
Peruse, explore, or simply ignore. As you wish. That's what an open house is for!
Green tea on me!
Oops. Quite literally. (gets mop, sponge...)

Hi Lothi!!
Hmm. For some reason the link to the Barad Lomin index page isn't working, at least not on my computer. In the event that anyone else has the same problem, here's the link.

FYI-For what it's worth:
Apple has discontinued Homepage photo sharing so the images don't work anymore. Links still function, other than Barad Lomin.

Yeah, gonna have to find other images to link to or remove the links completely. I guess Homepage has served its purpose.

Re: Open house at halavana's library
Apple is going to discontinue access to Homepage sites as of this June. Does anyone know of a web host service I could use to store my library? Been looking online and the only ones I can find are business related. Any suggestions would be welcome...

Re: Open house at halavana's library
Check with your internet service provider... most companies who offer 24/7 internet access (not dial-up) automatically give you webspace to use for personal stuff. Example would be Comcast cable, I have Comcast and technically I could have a personal website hosted there, the space and access is already provided, but I choose not to tie my webspace hosting with my internet access.
So you can try other free or paid services which all include stuff for business websites, but can be used for whatever you want. My website is hosted by Crosswinds.net, a Canadian hosting company, and they have a great free service, too: CWahi.net sounds like it would be more than adequate for your library needs
