Howdy everyone! It's been such a long time since I've been around these parts. Saw The Hobbit...took a few of my orcs to the Midnight show....dressed up as Gandalf (I'll post the pic when I can)....I was the ONLY person in costume, but yea, anyway....I thought of you guys the WHOLE time I was watching the movie. I've really missed being here and hope I can start to visit frequently again.

I really wanted to go as Smaug....I know, I know....but I couldn't find enough pieces after Halloween to pull it off well enough. Apparently everyone thinks of me as more of a Gandalf anyway. I'm not sure what that means, though, lololol

Awesome costume! I put LOTR helms on all of my kids for the show we went to see. And Rosie and I saw the midnight show, but not in costume.

Thanks everyone! I was obviously very excited....but when I saw that NO ONE else was in costume, my teenage son begged me not to stay dressed up, lolol. I had him take my picture in front of The Hobbit display, then I put the wig and props back in the car!

Oct 27th is my wedding anniversary (30 years this year).

Thanks for the reminder, SE - I've updated the birthdays listing we have at the scrapbook as well - pulled off a couple that were one-post-wonders who just wanted to have their birthday there while I was at it. Anyone else who wants to add/subtract is welcome to just pop me a pm and I'll take care of it.

It was 19 years for my hubby and me this past January 25th.
