This gorgeous little lad was sitting at the table having tea with me when my eldest grandson (age 16 and about 6'2" tall) walked in.
Youngest grandson: "Hello Charlie ........ you're a man!!" (This was said in awe as he raised his eyes ever upward from his plate to the top of Charlie's head!!! )

I'd smile too, if my niece went "Gollum, Gollum." ( Of course, she's in her forties. LOL )

My 10 year old grandson has been coming to me for tea each day from school while my daughter finishes her job on the mainland. She doesn't usually pick him up until about 8 o'clock so that means help with homework, card games etc. He was looking through a store catalogue and picked out a 'over-the-top' locket with Nanny inscribed on it. "This looks lovely Nanny, perhaps I will buy it for you." I explained it would take a lot of his pocket money, and his reply.................................
"Well, you do do a lot for me Nanny."
Had to blink rather rapidly for about five minutes!!!!!

Thinking of the times when Kiara was down just thoughts of her brings a smile to my face. Thinking of Nova and my new up coming grandbaby also brings a smile. I am happy that the kids have put up pictues of the girls on facebook so that I can see the girls.

Daughter to her (adorable) four year old: "How many times to I have to tell you not to do that?"
Adorable grandson's totally serious reply to his mummy: "About four?"
You just have to love them!!!

Having gone for lovely walk along the shore (with a freezing cold paddle in the sea) I spy my husband (he'd still been in bed when I left!!!) walking along the high street in front of me. Well I really didn't want to shout out his name (far too unladylike) so did the only possible thing.............. fingers in the mouth and a piercing whistle!!!!! (Got a few admiring glances from some of the kiddies walking along with their parents! :D )

I've never been able to do that whistle either - I applaud your mad whistling skillz!
