I'm looking for an old post (2001 to 2003)
several years ago there was a (semiserious? classification on the Fan Scrapbook website of fans of the LOTR movies; I remember the category of "reluctantly converted fans", who at first resisted any movie version of their beloved books but who now were among the movies' greatest fans. (That was the one that fit me.) I thought I had saved the post, but now I can't find it anywhere. There's now so much stuff in the Scrapbook that I can't find it anymore. Does anyone remember this, and can I still find it somewhere? Any and all suggestions much appreciated.
How did it come to this?

never mind -- I found it: It's the Sundering of the JRR Tolkien Fans, by Black Breathalizer. I'm very much a Rebirthadevotée!

Glad you found it, as now I'm curious and I couldn't find it myself.
I will take it. I will take it. I will take the Ring to Mordor, though I do not know the way. ~ Frodo Baggins

Was this just before my time? I don't recall ever seeing it, though of course I am familiar with just about everybody mentioned in it. It's a great piece!
BTW, is it possible to be more than one variety? Because I think I am.
