My text is too big for the page...

Post by Rosie » Thu Jul 28, 2005 4:14 pm

After I post, the text I typed goes way off the screen. Is there a setting to fix this?

I'll find out! Probably a word-wrap setting.... Thanks!

Can you capture and post a link to a picture of your screen to show what this looks like? Your posts look OK.

Next time see the problem, try doing the following:

* capture the contents of your screen to the clipboard
by pressing "Alt-PrtSc"

* paste the clipboard into a paint document by:

Start->Programs-->Accessories-->Paint

Edit->Paste

* If it says, "The image in the clipboard is larger than
the bitmap. Would you like the bitmap enlarged?",
answer "Yes"

* save the paint document somewhere

* Then attach it to an email and send it
to treblemaker _at_ bookloaf _dot_ net.

Best Regards,

Oh, I see it now. It looks like you have your screen resolution
set to 800x600. Can you try changing your display setting to 1024x768 and see how it looks?

If text is too small at this setting there are ways to change it so the smallest text size is larger.

Not sure what you did, but it's working great for me now. I didn't need to change my settings at all. :D
