What’s Michel Delving? One may ask.
Well, for those new to the Shire, Michel Delving was the largest town in the Shire, located in the western edge of the Westfarthing in the White Downs on the Great East Road. The Mayor of the Shire was elected here, and it was also the location of the Lockholes and the famous Mathom-house.
What wonderous things might any hobbit find there?
Well I’ll say when last visited, after Dear Bilbo went into the West with Gandalf, I would swear there was a chest left there by Bilbo himself, locked it was, and some say when shaken or moved it sounds like it is filled with Spoons, Knives, and Forks 🥄🥄🥄🥄����😊
