Eragon lastnames???

Do the characters in Eragon have last names? Because Eragon has been called alot eg. Eragon Garrowson, Eragon Shadeslayer, Eragon Argetlam [not sure]. Or is it like how Gandalf is called Mithandir (sp?) and other names by different races.

I wish I could help you I am only on chapter 2 and have only heard him called Eragorn. Will let you know when I read further. :read:
