*Gasp* You are truly a Whovian now, Tini - you have
THE SCARF.
Innumerable people have learned to knit just because of that iconic neck warmer. A gal down the hall from me in college tried to wear her rendition (which I swear was even longer than Four's) while riding her bike about town, I was amazed she didn't kill herself by tangling it in the spokes, so I don't recommend that activity...but you look GREAT!

I was soooo excited to get it! Everyone gives me practical stuff, like gift cards or socks, and those are very good! But what I really want is useless nerdy stuff. THE SCARF is a good compromise, both nerdy and useful

Those are great, Tinidril! I especially like the one of Patrick Troughton.

Anyone watching the newest Who? I've only managed to see 3 episodes and I'm liking Jodi better than Matt so far.

I have watched a couple of the new ones, and really like the having a lady Who. She fits the character like a glove.
There was also a Strange Elf clad in green and brown, Legolas,..... (FOTR, The council of Elrond)

Re: Dr. Who
After many years of giving Dr Who a miss because I found it boring, I decided to give it another go. It is turning out quite well now.
Jodie has made the doctor a lively and caring person and I'm interested to see how the character develops.I tired very quickly of the last two doctors, although they were played by good actors.
The companions are an interesting lot and behave more like real people would in that situation. They add greatly to my enjoyment of the show.
I liked some of the stories that were on Earth the best, esp Rosa Parks, and the Scandinavian cottage.
Looking forward to series 12 sometime this year.

He beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise.
