One feature of our boards here is a person cannot update their own email. If you change it yourself, you will be kicked out and it won't let you log in.
I think this was originally meant to be a security thing, so spammers couldn't come in with one email and then once they were inside go back and change it to a spammy or unsafe one.
If you need to update your email, please just pm any Mod. It can be updated on your account by a Mod and that will work just fine.
