Christopher Tolkien has sailed into the West

Undoubtedly most of us will have heard this news by now in other places. But it felt appropriate to announce it here as well, though I know activity here has been slow.
It’s the passing of an age. For all our (my) love of the work of our beloved Professor, there is so much of his work we would never have seen if not for Christopher’s efforts. And I’m so grateful for the peak into the process that we got to experience because of him.
He will be missed.
