I'm currently working on Varda, but she is being delayed while I work on a piece for a gallery opening on Hawthorne Blvd (near where I live).

Just spent a very pleasant half hour looking through your artwork and jewellery pictures So many amazing drawings - I think my favourite was Eowyn, and I also loved you sister-in-laws foot! I've never tried to draw a foot before! Love the picture of Yavanna Kementari - I'm an avid Silmarillion reader, so can't wait to see all the Valar

Re: Tinidril's Art
Here is a piece which is currently in a gallery near my home. Actually, it's the first painting I've *ever* had in a gallery!
The challenge was to take a canvas which the gallery provided (wood panel "canvas") on which was stenciled a van and then turn it into something which expressed your own style and journey. There were a lot of people at the opening night, and quite a wide variety of interpretations of a simple van! I thoroughly enjoyed going around to see all of them. I noticed that some people were taking pictures of my painting as well as others they liked. Who knows if anything will actually come of this, but it was fun

Love it! Openings are so much fun, and you get some great feedback.
I hope you took pictures of your piece on the wall, with the others... If you're lucky enough to sell it, you'd kill for that photo one day... terrific angels. Congratulations!

The photo I'm using here was taken that night (forgot to take a picture before I submitted! ), though I really doubt it would sell with the name of our ministry on the van, heh.

An Anawim van!! I rather like that - somehow it strangely suits it, too.
Lovely stuff, Tini - you are an amazing lady in more ways than one.

Lovely, Tinidril. I especially like The Song of My Heart, and the beautiful pencil portrait.

I love the flower. And the one with the eye in it... there is a mystery there that just draws me in.

Fantastic! Really beautiful. Will the painting be an 11x14 as well?
