It was singing in the fair elven-tongue, of which Frodo knew only a little, and the others knew nothing.
He wore a tall pointed blue hat, a long grey cloak, and a silver scarf. He had a long white beard and bushy eyebrows that stuck out beyond the brim of his hat.

It ain't what I call proper poetry, if you understand me: just a bit of nonsense.

The rules are simple... it's basically a conversation... storyline... thing, wherein all of the posts are quotes from LOTR (movie or book), or The Hobbit or The Sil. They can be actual quotes of something a character said, or descriptive phrases, or whatever, as long as they come from ME. Go back and read a few pages and you'll get the idea. Then jump in and join us!tahawus wrote:Sorry to interupt the flow of this game, but ....

"I'm a Hobbit, and I know I can't save Middle-Earth. I just want to help my friends. More than anything I wish I could see them again."

...walking on its fingers towards Sam, who was lying nearest.

Merry stooped and lifted the hand to kiss it.

"Look out!" cried Sam. "He'll spring!"
All that glitters has a high refractive index.

'Well, that's a warning to us all!' laughed Merry.
