Oh c'mon, you mean my entry wasn't one of the best? I actually changed ONE of the answers from what I posted, so it should've been about perfect! :x

Ah, but there is a story to tell concerning the winning of this latest round of Lore!!!

It seems that there were two players tied for first place and thusly two tie-breaker entries sent out. But, for some reason, no tie-breaker entries were returned!! There was no response on Wednesday night after I sent the emails, and none on Thursday either. By Friday I was really starting to worry (not quite panic yet) and, since there was still nothing in my inbox Saturday morning, I sent out reminder emails. :poke: And guess what, no response to them until Sunday ... ... and the cutoff for tie-breaker entries was Saturday at midnight. :old:

So ... ... ... after a nice panic attack :nailbiter: :help: (I've always loved the quote "When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout!" ... and that was about how I acted, albiet quietly.) ... ... ... the only thing I could think to do was to, basically, disqualify those two players and declare the third place entry as the new LoreMaster.

I can say that I have never, in all my years as a player or in the year and a half I've been in charge, known of this happening before, so I hope I have done the right thing.

I thought that such unusual circumstances needed to be explained ... ... ... and I sincerely hope it doesn't happen again!! :whack:

the MES,
Ashlyn

Congrats, DocG!

And hats off to the MES, who, when the players made a mess of things, made the mess work! :D

Very Tricksy, am I. Just like the Dark Lord, I allow my adversaries to destroy each other, so that I remain in the winner's circle...MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Well, regardless of how I got the title, I will prepare a group of questions for the next round.

I can't remember on which show I heard this quote: "It's amazing how many supervillains have advanced degrees."

It looks like there's one more than we thought.
