My son started his own company txt

Post by Horse-Lord » Sat Aug 06, 2005 2:14 pm

My 18 year old son has started, with a friend who is 19, their own company last month. The name is Techni-Productions and they will be doing the lighting and the sound for shows. So far they have 4 clients and they are real excited. This is Kevin's (my son) dream.

He wore a tall pointed blue hat, a long grey cloak, and a silver scarf. He had a long white beard and bushy eyebrows that stuck out beyond the brim of his hat.

That's fantastic! Who was it said, "Follow your bliss" ? Anyway, they were right, and I am glad your son is doing so while he is young. May he have a long and prosperous life doing what he loves.

Joseph Campbell: The secret of life was to "Follow Your Bliss".

Joseph Campbell was a life-long student and teacher of the human spirit and mythology--not just the mythology of cultures long dead, but of living myth, as it made itself known in the work of modern artists and philosophers--individuals who searched within themselves and their societies to identify the need about which they were passionate. He called this burning need that they sought to fulfill their bliss.

Thank you ALL. I guess it's pretty obvious that I'm proud of him and I really hope that his dream takes off. I must admit though, that this kid had us pulling out our hair since the first grade. He's always hated school and we knew fairly early on that he wouldn't attend college or University. He always told us that he would do something with his life. I see that he reads this. It is said there is no great reward without great risk. It takes courage to follow your dreams in this world. Best of Luck to Kevin and friend!!
