Coffee flavored Goo! (txt)

Post by tahawus » Fri Aug 12, 2005 4:59 pm

Now there's a thought! I love  Coffee Ice Cream, but never thought of Goo. Hm, I'm going to have to research this.....

Coffee Goo? Does it come in Decaf?
Watch out if it's made from that Caradhras Coffee - I seem to remember that stuff packed quite a punch...

The dust bunnies have been safely installed in their new home under the bar, btw - as they live off of spilled coffee beans, it might be a good thing to have more of it being tossed around.

Caradhras Coffee....

Post by Lithilien Quicksilver » Fri Aug 12, 2005 6:15 pm

Oh, yes, indeed, that packed a punch! I clearly remember acquiring a reputation as one very caffeinated elf!

Twas not a pretty sight... though it was fun.

Re: Pegging newbies? What's this do?

It was an innocent little passtime at the old Pony... When a newbie came along, we would, quite gently, hang them on a peg by the door and not let them down until they had sung us a song. It was an initiation of sorts, and meant to be totally harmless. We did stop after a while though, as some newbies were a bit... concerned... to be so accosted immediately upon their arrival. :D

Thanks Lith! You can hand me on the door! What song would you like me to sing? If you don't want to pick, then tell me were to get the song from. From LotR? From the movies or the books? From anywhere? Where or what!?

:D So glad that tradition had stopped before I joined. Doesn't sound like much fun being pegged to a door hehe

Well... only because you asked... ::gently hangs Wanderer by the hood of her cloak onto a nice new peg by the door::

The song is your choice, my dear. Anything at all will do. :-)

Thanks for being such a good sport.

Poor fellowship fan....

Post by Lithilien Quicksilver » Sat Aug 13, 2005 6:32 pm

Well, we can't have that! ::grabs fellowshipfan and pegs her handily beside Wanderer::

Ok, now you can either sing a duet :sing: :sing: or solo. :sing:

And I understand your sadness, fellowshipfan... the tradition started after I came along, and I felt left out too, so I requested my own pegging. It somehow made me feel even more a part of this community. :D

No worries, my dears! I would never peg anyone who did not request it! You're quite safe from the tradition, and just as much a part of us as the most thoroughly pegged amongst us. :thumb:

:archer:

I too, never sang a song, nor hung from a peg.

I think I can skip being hung from the peg, as my friends like to point out, I'm rather short for an elf....
But I will sing a part of a song and apologize for not having the best voice!

:sing:

We are the pirates, who don't do anything!
We just stay home, and lay around!
And if you ask us, to do annyyything
We'll just tell you
We don't do anything!

Yay! I've been pegged!...(txt)

Now for a song...
Here is a new Martina McBride I learned this summer. :music:

:sing: :sing: :sing: :sing: :sing:
She's a Butterfly

She remembers when she first got her wings
And how she opened up the day
she learned to sing
Then the colors came, erased the
black and white
And her whole world changed
when she realized

Chorus
She's a butterfly, pretty as the crimson sky
Nothing's ever gonna bring her down
And everywhere she goes
Everybody knows she's so glad to be alive
She's a butterfly

Like the purest light in a darkened world
So much hope inside, such a lovely girl
You should see her fly, it's almost magical
It makes you wanna cry, she's so beautiful

Chorus
She's a butterfly, pretty as the crimson sky
Nothing's ever gonna bring her down
And everywhere she goes
Everybody knows she's so glad to be alive
She's a butterfly

God bless the butterfly,
give her the strength to fly
Never let her wings touch the ground
God bless the butterfly
Give her the strength to fly
Never let her wings touch the ground

Chorus
She's a butterfly, pretty as the crimson sky
Nothing's ever gonna bring her down
And everywhere she goes
Everybody knows she's so glad to be alive
She's a butterfly.

:sing: :D
That was fun! Now can I come down? :D
