Best and worst of Summer
Since I doubt I'll be seeing any more movies this Summer, here is my lowdown on the best and worst of this Summer's movies.
The Best:
Star Wars Episode 3: The final piece to the puzzle that satisfies.
Batman Begins: A truly great restart to the comic book franchise.
Sky High: A wildly entertaining superhero movie.
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory: A great mix of storytelling and imagination.
The Worst:
Dukes Of Hazzard: I was expecting it too be bad, but not so bad it's embarrissing bad.
Bewitched: Not a straight forward remake, but just as bad as one.
What will be of next Summer, we'll find out.

Re: Best and worst of Summer
I don't remember seeing any really terrible ones to be called Worst, but some movies are fresh in my mind to be Best:
Must Love Dogs, with John Cusack and Diane Lane
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore
Batman Begins, with Christian Bale and Katie Holmes
That's all I can think of now Still to be seen by me Star Wars Episode 3 and The Island among many others

Use the talents you possess, for the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except the best.

I didn't see any movies this summer.
But it sure is nice to have lordbg's reviews back in place again.

Don't forget the "March of the Penguins"
just love those little guys.

The Island
I saw the Island at San D Con in an advance screening.
Even if the plot isn't the most original, it's still got great action scenes, some very creepy stuff, and some actors that those who enjoy science fiction and fantasy will recognize.
I did enjoy Star Wars, even with the cheese factor in places.
And I loved Batman Begins!!!

Well, ehrm, though going to the theater is one of the things I love most in the world, I am, myself, quite shocked to admit I've only seen ONE movie this summer in theater, but since that is one of the best I've seen in my entire life, I'm quite satisfied anyway;
Star Wars Episode III
