Indy Weekend - any plans for Sunday?...txt

Post by Bregalad » Mon Sep 12, 2005 7:54 pm

I will be arriving on Friday (10/14) and have a ticket for Saturday (10/15) and will be meeting with Sil and Din. As I didn't just want to fly in and fly out, I booked an extra day and will also be around all day Sunday and leaving Monday afternoon. Does anyone have plans for Sunday? I just want to hang out with any other Ringers that might be around.

Hobbitlove and I are leaving on Sunday, but I'm sure we can moot for breakfast. Where are you staying?

I will also be there on Friday.

Din and I will be there hopefully mid-afternoon on Friday and we could do breakfast moot on Sunday with anyone who would want. It depends on how long our trip is we might even be able to do lunch on Sunday.

Boriel and I are there all day Friday through midday Sunday. Not sure when she is leaving, but I'm heading out on the bus by 3 pm -- so that makes a morning moot quite possible!

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'm staying at the Renaissance Towers, the same hotel...txt

as Linaewen and Boriel. Breakfast sounds doable. It would be a good start to the day. It'll be great to see you again.

As per my reply to True, a morning moot is workable...txt

especially since we are in the same hotel. Sil and Din are staying there too. Put it on your schedule. We'll fix up the details when we see each other. Yay for breakfast moots. :yum:

breakfast

Post by True-Hearted Easterling » Fri Sep 16, 2005 9:16 am

There's a Le Peep about a mile from the hotel.

http://www.lepeep.com/menu_index.asp

Indianapolis, IN 46204
Address: 301 N. Illinois St.
Major Cross Streets: Illinois and New York
Shopping Center: Central Park
Phone: 317-237-3447

Should we go ahead and pick it as a breakfast spot Saturday or Sunday? I'm thinking it might be nice to pick a place in advance so people will know where to go even if they don't run in to other Ringers in advance.

Thoughts?

I think that's a great idea, and this looks like a lovely place to meet. Quite a few of us are in the same hotel -- but not all will be, and it will be good to be able to tell the others where to come. I vote yes for LePeep.

As for which day, I think there are some who are going to the 9 am opening of the Exhibit on Saturday (our tickets are for later in the afternoon - 1 pm), so it might be good to set Sunday for the main moot. JAI.

Sounds good. Sunday would definitely work better, I think. Bregalad, Din and I will be among those of us going at 9am. on Sat. to the exhibit.

It sounds like Le Peep is a good selection...txt

Thanks for the suggestion true. I vote for picking it for our Sunday breakfast moot :tea: . As Sil said, our museum tickets are for Saturday at 9 a.m. so it would be tough for us that morning. We'll probably have a quick breakfast early at or near the hotel before the exhibit. That's also why I started this thread for Sunday, to see if anyone would be around and make tentative plans.

Saturday evening is already set at Milano's (see the other Indy thread), so between Saturday evening and Sunday morning we should be able to catch most if not all of the weekend Ringers.

28 days and counting. It's going to be really COOL!!! :thumb:
