Colin Firth

Post by Ringwraith-Wife » Thu Sep 23, 2010 4:33 pm

Since Viggo isn't nominated this year... I'm hoping for Colin Firth to take the Oscar. I've been a fan since Pride and Prejudice on A&E.
This really looks like a good one.

But then, I love British movies.

He was definitely the sexiest Mr. Darcy ever portrayed by an actor.

I think I'm going to have to watch P&P tonight.

Ha! I watched it again last night. Almost embarrassed to say it, but I'm on my 3rd set. ( I can't claim that I wore them out all by myself, I did lend them to friends, but it has been my "go-to" movie after LOTR. :hi:

Don't be embarrassed, I'm also on my third set. 1st set DVR, 2nd set, DVD and third set Blu Ray.

Mr. Darcy keeps getting better and better as the quality improves.

This thread is in serious need of a mop and bucket.

Frightening, isn't it, S.E. ? I've lost track of how many times I've actually seen, and read P&P... I'm never tired of it. :cloud9:
Yesterday, out of the blue, my brother sent me 6 of the BBC Jane Austen Classics... Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey, Pride and Prejudice,
Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility. It's going to be so much fun watching them, I LOVE the BBC.
