Here is my three month update.

CEA 0.5 Image

That is an EXCELLENT number. Can't really get much lower.

I am loving and living and enjoying every single moment of being alive.

I know the stats, and thus, I look at it in three month increments. I am going to LIVE & LOVE EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY for the next three months, and then go from there.

I thank you for your continued support and love and ask for the occasional prayer, because you've got to know, I want to be the one that gets the miracle.

I know its a month early, but I am going to jump the gun and give you an update.

My Oncologist and Radiation Oncologist are astounded at how healthy I am.

All of my tumour markers and CT Scans have been clear and I am approaching my second year NED = No Evidence of Disease.

I am here, against the odds, for many reasons. By the Grace of God. The prayers and good vibes of so many friends, some I have only known through cyber space. Love. Positive attitude. Life lived outdoors (see picture) And some determine hard work on my part.

Again, I thank those of you here, who have sent up prayers to the Lord, good vibes and thoughts, and your posts of support.

Bless you all!

Continued blessings of good health

Post by Strange Elf » Fri Nov 25, 2016 7:23 am

I thought it was time for an update.

I get tested every three months and will for the rest of my (long and happy) life.

My last two tests since posting have all been clear. That makes me Four years out from diagnosis and TWO YEARS SEVEN MONTHS NED. NED means NO EVEDENCE OF DISEASE.

Can we say happy me :stars: .

My goal for this year is to try to put to the back of my mind the five year survival stats my Oncologist gave me. You'd think it would be easy to do, when you're feeling great, but it isn't. It plays on the mind, and will take control if you don't keep it in check. I've known two people now, who have succumbed to their 'deadline' because they couldn't get over prognosis.

So very happy to be alive. And have many people in my life, including you guys, to thank for helping me with prayers and good thoughts.

And here I am, a year later posting the same news. CEA 0.5 which indicated NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE.

Obviously happy. Blessed. Greatful for more wonderful time on this earth.

By the bye. I can no longer access the profile page. I would love to try and get some kind of avatar back. Any ideas?
