Re: some photos
You have some beautiful shots there Mouse. Where do you live? Do you have bald Eagles at the end of your street all the time, or was that a one off? What kind of camera do you have?

Gorgeous! Washington State is a lovely, lovely place - these look like the kind of shots I see sold on calendars.
I *love* the shot of your family! Would make a fabulous avatar or banner for them if you have a site for family stuff.

Thanks guys!
I live in northern Washington, and there are eagles all over the place, though usually much farther away from the ground and harder to photograph. my new camera is a Nikon D50 digital SLR, and it has a 28-200mm lense which i got on ebay.

I am thinking of taking classes in photography when the boys are out on their own (not too long now), and I'm already starting to check out equipment.mousechief wrote:my new camera is a Nikon D50 digital SLR, and it has a 28-200mm lense which i got on ebay.
Your pictures are stunning, I especially love the one with the Seagull and the sunset.
I'm so glad you have shared these.

So gorgeous, I felt my soul sigh..............
..the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise.

Oh, my. Those are beautiful. You've done some wonderful framing.

There seems to be a theme of sunset or sun and clouds in there, mouse... I love sunsets and you've got some fantastic shots there.
