Hello there, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Goblins!
Hello! I joined this forum because I'm a big fan of Tolkien, and in January of '09 I read all of his major works (The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, and The Silmarillion), and finished by February '10. Yet, I have always been a fan of fantasy, and as a young child I really enjoyed the animated Hobbit movie (even though I didn't fully understand it). Yet I never knew that tale had a sequel until the live-action LotR movies came out, which became my favorite film trilogy of all time.
I look forward to discussions with fellow fans of Tolkien's legendarium, as well as discussing other high fantasy works!
Sincerely, AG

I can see that things are kind of slow on this forum, but I am more than happy to help it pick up the pace!

Hi! Wow, it's been what, four or five months since we had a new member? I'm fairly new as well, but I fit in just fine, as I'm sure you will. Okay, that's enough of me. Go talk to. . . . Dr. G or someone. Are you a Doctor Who fan?

We've had a few others sign up in the meantime, but none of them posted. I never understood that.... Why sign on if you never intend to even say 'hi'...? Gollum here has outclassed them by a longshot!

Yeah, come talk to me, or anyone else here for that matter. We are all friendly folk and like a lot of different things. Glance over the boards and have fun posting.

Welcome and Well Met, Awful-Gollum! Feel free to initiate topics that interest you in an effort to stir up interest in subjects that may be lying dormant in the corner of our cozy home! It's been a while since there's been lively discussions or bantering back and forth. No matter the level of activity here, there is a passion for Tolkien and his stories that burns very brightly and a love for our fellowship that is unmatched elsewhere in Middle Earth! I hope you enjoy being here and become an active member of our community!! We're very happy to have you!

Re: Hello there, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Goblin
I just thought I'd drop in and say Hi again. I am a charter member but lost interest with Decipher and got busy on another forum. Last time I saw anyone from the Fan Club was at the TTT exhibit in Toronto in 2002. Is anyone still around from back then?
I really need to visit more often

Hello! My name is LotR Freak. (Well literally...)
I'm a new fan of Lord of the Rings I'm currently reading Two Towers, I'm very obsessed with LotR you might say which is why my name suits me I guess... I'm pretty familiar with forums so I hope this won't be very...difficult for me to adjust to.......... yep so, hi.
