Ireland travel

Post by JimboBaggins » Thu Oct 21, 2010 2:02 pm

I know a lot of our Ringers either live in or have been to Ireland.
It is a dream for myself and even more so brother Onomir to someday get to the home of our ancestors.
This article while short offers a glimpse of what the Emerald Isle offers.

Ah the sisters live there (Indis and Elentare) - in the Donegal area (between 8 and 9 on your map).... http://kincasslagh.net/

Also, Gimli's Goat lives somewhere around Waterford - or she used to - that was years ago! http://www.waterfordtourism.org/

I hope you get there!!!! And I'll come along in your baggage!!!

Jimbo, whenever you have a chance to come here, be sure to stop at the last homely house in County Donegal, Gleann Muire, in the rugged landscape of the Rosses. Any ringer coming to Ireland is most welcome to our house, there's always a bed, a cuppa and a chat, and we will gladly tour with you through this beautiful county.
