Boromir is about to wake up from his daze and find himself in a pickle.

At least, I hope he's about to wake up, anyway -- he's hard to get moving these days. I think he needs some hyperness-inducing fruitcake or something....

A small huddle of big black foul disco-dancing beasts of darkness suddenly split in two... at the waist...

"You look as though you've had a brush with death."

I'm dying here, DoK - you're killing me! Tears are falling and will short out my keyboard.... That was hysterical..... darn you!!

I can't take all the credit

Post by daughter_of_kings » Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:47 am

Thank you very much, ladies, for your kind words, but I must give credit where credit is due. That line was actually inspired by something that Brave Hobbit wrote to me (about the brush fires in Texas, and wouldn't it be safer if we all used combs  ), so it's partly his fault, Agape, if your keyboard shorts out. :D

Hey everyone! I'm back... :hi:

I've been reading up a bit and I must say, DOK, you are doing brilliantly. I would never have come up with such a good language joke, as I am not a native speaker. It was so funny!

I don't want to just push my way back in after so long an absence, so if you have a thing that you still want to do with Gimli, I can just take Arwen only for a while if you want... let me know.

Gimli is all yours, dear. I'm glad you like what I've done with him, but I've just been sort of a Steward for a while, and now that you're back, I'm quite pleased to turn the reins... er, keyboard... back over to you. :D

Is it my imagination, or have the hobbits on the west bank (i.e. Pip and Merry) been quiet for a while? Not that Dr.G has been here all the time. It is, however, time for them to make a few moves, otherwise we are stuck in a holding pattern.

Merry - We've been waiting on Boromir!

Pip - Yeah! It's Boromir's fault! He hasn't kicked the bucket yet!

Merry - Pippin! *whacks friend on the head with hand*

Pip - Owww! Well it's true! According to the script we're suppose to help him fight the Uruks before he ends up looking like a pin cushion. After that the Uruks are suppose to carry us off.

Merry - Well I suppose we could skip that part. Other than that I'm open to any suggestions that would move us on. All this waiting is getting boring.

Pip - *nods in agreement*

Well you could always go to his trailer, kick him in the shins and yell, "Tag, you're it, Gondor-Boy!" run off into the thick of things and hope he follows . . .
