Ah, yes, Syl, my dear. Sorry it took me so long to answer your question. I hope you see this but that is Destin, Florida.

I've been to Destin Beach- have had many dreams of retirement there! It's a gorgeous place and the sunsets....breathtaking! Sand dunes like snow banks, white and sparkling, but MUCH WARMER!! One of my favorite places on earth.
..the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise.

Oh, yes. Destin is wonderful. I am blessed to live only about 4 hours from it.

Here is a picture of (l-r) my friend Melody, who makes my rengarb, Me, and my friend Farrah.

The Girls

This is a picture of my final fitting for my new garb. The bodice is not finished and is just kind of loosely pinned on me and the trim isn't on but you can see it will be a stunner at Faire.

Unfinished garb

Melody did send me a picture of finished bodice.

here's a picture of me in my new 14th c. outfit, at Crossroads at Canterbury. It's in a snapfish album, I hope it works.

It was the coolest event, three local groups cooperated to put it on, it was just amazing how much work everyone put into it. I made my first new outfit in I don't know how many years, and had a fantastic time!

I'm not seeing anything in the post, sarah! I did cut and paste the image link into the address bar and was able to see you that way! You look smashing and the outfit is quite lovely!

ooh, I'm glad it worked for you, somehow! I'm not much of a computer geek and I always have to refer back to the directions for how to share pix!

I've just had a ton of fun going through every page of this thread.

How about some more pictures.
