My son is in Europe...

Well right now he's in England and coming home tomorrow, but he has been away for 19 days with the ambassdoral program People to People. They started out in Paris and, aside from there being very little pepsi there, he fell in love with it. He texted me a picture from the top of the Effile Tower whi...

Re: Froot

Well I finally did it. That big rody in my front yard, the one I showed you a picture of, I cut it back to stubs. :? But in doing so I opened up that from garden and it actually looks pretty good. Now I have a dilema that I would like some opinions on. In cutting back the rody I found that the groun...

Re: Okay now it's hurricanes...

Glad to hear you are alright. We had a really bad windstorm here a few years back and it took a long time before we all didn't jump and look at the trees wondering if one of them was going to come down or not at every breeze. Hopefull the next few days of :sun: will dry things out enough before the ...

Re: are there any hybrid car owners out there???

That'll be about the time we can afford to get another car. Still paying off hubby's truck and 2 car payments would stretch us too far. Although paying gas for 2 V8's is already doing that. :-(

Re: DarkElf to invade NorthWest Pacific soon!

This sounds very very interesting. I have put it down on my calendar for August 19th. We must talk more when the date gets closer. :big grin:

Re: Powels book store

Ya know, we've had some really lousy weather up here. :cold: :rain: then some more :cold: with some more :rain: , but I'm really thankful that that is all we've had. It's much better then 102F, or being underwater, or waiting for that storm that may send us a tornado to rip our house apart. I've als...

Re: Lost story... Has this ever happened to you?

I was going through and shredding the old marked up copy of my book and the extra pages that I used for the long edits that I had already put into the computer. When it came time to put in some more of my editing I realized I had shredded that paper too. :argh: It had some really good stuff on it th...

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Loosing a child at any stage of life is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, thing to bare. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. :sympathy:

Re: Pictures from my flooded hometown

I like fishing....although I prefer to go to the river, not have the river come to me. I'm glad to hear you house made it without getting wet. They showed houses that seem to be dry but said the basements were full of water. Great pictures though. That would be a bit eerie to look out on, alt...

Re: Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

My son had trouble believing he would even survive th blast in the first place. I was just surprise he was able to stand afterwards. LOL I loved the movie. It was true Indy. The ants though. :pale: Couldn't watch all of that. :faint: My husband was squirming right along with me. As Lind mention earl...

Re: I'm back! (images)

Beautiful pics of St. Helens. You were lucky to have a clear day up there since there has been so much :rain: Really cool about the park. The only sad thing about this trip was that Miss. Lindorie was at Sea-Tac for 20 minutes (Seattle's airport) for a layover. Six years and we are finally in the sa...
