Bygone Bywater

- Onóno Laivindur

Two old friends sat fireside, legs warming on the fender
Telling tales and poems of an age gone by
And singing songs of love so tender

Sharing Spirits and reminiscing of battles lost and won
Nights in The Prancing Pony, all laughing and having fun
They suddenly were quiet, looked each other in the eye
“To our friends”, they whispered, and lifted up their glasses high
Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget."
