DoK, it's also cuz we NEVER get snow and when we do they close things b/c we can't drive on it!

I, on the other hand, do not like the cold, no I don't Sam I am

1. A sunny day for the first time in... hmmm... can't remember the last sunny day!

2. Every time the snow plow goes by he makes the tallest, deepest ice dam that I have to hack through for the mailman... todays measured 3' x 4'... a record for an actual day without snow!

3. Looked at my Avatar... I've been here for 3 years today!

We are so un-used to snow here that if we get a couple inches of it there will be no mailman!! (so much for that old slogan)

I kinda hope it snows enough and sticks long enough for the girls to have fun in it.

But--I'd rather it got warm again!!

we had a super fun super bowl party

brother-in-law's friends are becoming our friends even though we are like 5-6 yeears older (guess that doenst matter anymore!)

Did I mention I found more RINGERS??????? We're going to have a watch marathon sometime soon. they were shocked I didn't know/think they were LOTR fans (as they put it, we play D&D...) I didnt equate D&D with LOTR.

I knew they were geeky/nerdy but didnt think for LOTR!

2. No school again for the 5th day in two weeks, due to ice/sleet/snow.

hates cold weather and it needs to quit rolling in on days we're supposed to travel

you would think that with school being cancelled last week and me not being able to go this week, I'd be ahead at least a little bit

it felt like 1 degree here at 10 am and i dont like it

I hope the snow quits!!!!!! We have had a horrible amount this year and we had days the mail man couldn't get out to deliver mail. The state was telling people to STAY HOME over and over. Hard not to if you can't get out.

Do not care for people who always have to be dramatic over every little thing in their lives.

Wish we could win the lottery so I can stay home and take care of the house and my hubby.

1. Had to scrape a little frost off my car windshield yesterday, darn this hard winter. Er....I mean, so sorry the rest of you are so cold!

2. Surprised to hear that Brian Jacques (he of Redwall) has passed away... no more badgers and mice, very sad news.

3. If Sil wins the lottery, does this mean we all move in with her?

Yay for Pippin's Sunshine finding more Ringers in TX, and for Lindorie becoming a Gramma!

Houston had 3 days with lows of 20 degrees or less in the first decade of the century. They've had 9 days with lows of 20 deg or less so far this year. Must be that global warming I keep hearing about.

Why do I have so many chores on my to-do list?

~Just realized that I usually use my history bar to get to the sites I frequent except this one. To get here, I have to click Favorites and then it hit me- this is my Favorite place on the net! How appropriate!!!!

~ Enjoying the mid to upper 40's this week, though the week-end will be back in the teens. At least the snow's going BYE-BYE!!!!

1. We need the snow here in Desert Nevada, but I wish it would stay in the mountains.

2. Getting a little more excited about The Hobbit movie.

3. Made some wonderful applesauce, raisin cinnamon bread. The house smells wonderful.
