Seems like all fantasy books are made into movies these days!
Not one of my favorites this time though.
I'm waiting for movies after books by David Eddings and Philip Pullman.

I didn't know it was being made into a movie, but I did know that it was only a matter of time.

I'd love to see a movie from David Eddings books. :D

I started reading the book ages ago but stopped and read something else after three chapters. (I think it was a David Eddings book) Anyhow, I have now started reading it again because I heard the movie was coming out and the trailer looked cool. Am now more than halfway through it. The main reason though was because Jeremy Irons is in it. *swoon* I can't wait! The book is really good too! Christopher Paolini was my age when he wrote it. Wow!

I started to read Eragon book but I don't have much time to read so I bought the audio cd's to both Eragon And Eldest. I listen to them in the car when I take my kids to school.

I have been waiting for the third book to come out and so far nothing so i went to Barnes and Nobles and asked them and he said it is not going to be a trilogy now it will be a series. The next book which at the time had no name will be out in September of 2008 I believe he said. I am dying to know what happened to the characters next.

It will probably end up the same way that Star Wars did. It has so far. Oromis will die of old age and Murtagh will die trying to save Eragon from Galbatorix.
