Bogart is awesome! I adore his movies. My favourite is 'To Have and Have Not'.

Yes, indeed, despite the fact that I don't find him attractive, nor do I think he was all that great an actor... he was pretty much the same character in all of his films. But the guy had something... charisma, maybe. My favorite movies of his include The Maltese Falcon and Sabrina. And his "role" in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid was hilarious.

I haven't seen "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" but he was hilarious in "We're No Angels" and "The African Queen". Lol.

These forums are pretty dead, aren't they? I posted this like 5 months ago and it's still up the top of the list.

My favourite movie is "Casablanca".

I thought that he was an absolutely brilliant actor in "In A Lonely Place", "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre", "The Caine Mutiny", "The African Queen" and "Casablanca". But maybe that's just me.

Oh, and a few months ago I thought he was the most attractive man who ever lived. But I'm kinda over that now...

Ha - isn't it funny how that comes and goes?

I never thought he was that great to look at, but I did enjoy the way he played his characters.

I haven't seen Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid - sounds like I'll have to add that one to my list! The Maltese Falcon is so gritty, and he does a great job at it, the original Sam Spade. He had a major following in his day, must have been an interesting man to know.

It is funny. :-) I still love him though. He was such a cool character. He always played the manliest of men. Lol.
