Good morning! I know there are some members of the Fellowship here who are also Doctor Who fans, so i hope you might answer back.... In watching this particular story, I became fascinated with all the different little turns of phrase used by the "Victorian" characters. Things such as "By Sam!", " dash my optics!" and "oh, corks!"
(there are many many others). At first I imagined these were popular slang of the age but there was no finding them by googling. A venture into Who fandom also got me nowhere.
I'm about to buy a (Target) script of the episode in hopes there might be writer's notes in there, but thought I'd give y'all a shout-out before I did that.
In any case, it's always lovely to *see* all of you, although there certainly is an echo here (and i certainly am one of those echoes).
The best to all of you! jan~
