Role-call! Let us know if you would like to journey on -

Post by Primula » Mon Jan 15, 2007 10:54 pm

:computer:
Seeing as we have reached the end of FOTR (go us!) - as part of housekeeping, we would like to do a "role call" to see:
who is still here and willing to continue to carry on with their part.

If you are carrying more than one main character, let us know which one you is your 'keeper' so we know if one is up for reassignment.

:poke: This thread will be locked on January 24th (a week and a half) - those who have not come by the boards at all in that time will be emailed to see if extenuating circumstances kept them, or if they are simply no longer able/willing to be 'regulars' here to the extent of keeping a role going.

That said - SOUND OFF with your part(s)!:salute:

"I'm here!" cries Frodo, waving his hands over his head to be sure he is seen.

"Sure as Taters sprout, so'm I," nodded the Gaffer.

"You shall have my sword, my knife, my bow, my chopsticks, my mostly-clean underwear, Arwen's leftover hair brooch, some extremely dangerous (but not altogether unpleasant) words of wisdom, and one highly-skilled, royal-descended, gorgeous-looking, super-intelligent... man!" At which point Aragorn pinned on a big blue, "The Chief" button.

In the highest room in the tallest tower of the enchanted castle of Meduseld, the Princess Eowyn had locked herself in to get away from Wormtongue for a moment. When she heard the role call, she put down the riding boot that she had been polishing, went to the window, and called:

"Still here and waiting for my Prince Charming to come and rescue me!" :help:

As she sat down and resumed polishing her boot, she muttered to herself, "And he'd better have a good horse when he gets here."

Dr.G is here too. I have several small parts coming up. Treebeard is mine, but I will have to make a small flying pass over Frodo and Sam as the Witchking in the marshes and leaving Cirith Ungol. Currently, I am aslo a couple of orcs awaiting a couple of hobbits to steal them. I am happy to do a forward latteral to Gorbag and Shagrat and let Denny and Arthur go the way of Tiffany the Aphid Queen.

You mean they'll become wraith-orcs? We're going to have quite an assortment of wraiths at the Pelennor, aren't we? :D

Din is here too. I will continue on with Legolas which Loth has agreed too and who will be my backup when I can't.

But Merry will need someone to guide him now. I can't handle more then one.

They can open a Taco Stand on the fields. Hey, an army marches on it's stomachs! But they won't be serving Orc (the othet white meat?!?).

Sadly I might have to pull out for a while. After Lurtz is gone and buried, I'm not really going to have the time (as has been evident).

I might be able to pull up small characters, but only briefly. :(

I was Boromir. Am I dead yet?

And I was Theoden and Marty Feldman.

Willing to pick up the threads of an old life.......

Dear C-P,

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but Lurtz has begun the Long Wok Home. If Aragorn had stopped to think, he could have used the Lembas to make him Moo-shu Orc.

But I know that Quickbeam (a small role) is still open, and if he is a little slow on the uptake, so much the better . . .

Quickbeam wrote:They, uuh, call me like, um, oh, yeah, Quickbeam because . . . well . . . Um . . . they do!
Makes me think appropriately of Forest Gump.

You still hold Theoden and Marty's threads in your hands, though Boromir (or rather, his ghost) belongs to Linaewen now. If you think you'll be up to running Theoden with the one post a week minimum as we head into Rohan, it would be great to keep you on.
