Photography, drawing and deviantart.com...

Post by Froda Baggins » Thu May 01, 2008 12:10 am

:hi:

So, I've been dabbling in photography and drawing for a long time, and finally got myself a page over at DeviantArt.com. I thought I'd share it with all the rest of my talented artists and art-admirers here at the boards... hope you enjoy, and any feedback is definitely appreciated! :D

There isn't much there yet, but I'm working on it. :-)

Oooo....

I like the 'rolled up secret' one best, but the people jumping in the sun is a great shot, so much movement and exuberance caught in the silhouettes, and the light in the glasses is lovely, you have a good eye. :thumb:

I think you have a good eye and feeling for photography, I like the compositions in the ones you've shown there!

I'm always so happy when other people like my stuff... I work with it myself so much I guess I never know whether it turns out good or not. hehe
So thank you very much, Prim and Maura! I'm glad you liked the pictures.

I like the ROLLED UP SECRET the best... the texture of the gloves really adds to the mystery. ( After I read that you found it on the beach, I thought, "...this could be a message from Atlantis!" )

The drawing of the young boy was Frodo-esque (Those eyes) The Manga style drawings are very hot right now.

Lets see more!!

Dr. G, thank you! Good to hear :D

RW, I love the message-from-Atlantis idea!! If I ever ... ever... have a photography exhibit in a distant and famous future, I will include that picture and give it that title.... 8)

Oh my! These are absolutely gorgeous! I love how the glasses one is so lonely. And you were absolutely right - the lighting is perfect!

I really like the light in "Glasses". Very good pictures!
