Ithilethiel's LOTR-related Projects

Post by Ithilethiel » Tue Jul 08, 2008 12:00 pm

I thought I might show you some of my projects.
Of course, there are more unfinished than finished projects! My work bench and my craft-table are a mess!

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Very nice work there Ith. Do you sell them at craft fairs?
There was also a Strange Elf clad in green and brown, Legolas,..... (FOTR, The council of Elrond)

Thanks.
I've only made them for some of my fellow-Ringer friends (so far), as birthday gifts.
I'm not sure they are good enough to sell.

Beautiful work and such thoughtful gifts! I do believe you could easily find yourself a fine group of buyers for your handiwork!
..the grey rain-curtain turned all to silver glass and was rolled back, and he beheld white shores and beyond them a far green country under a swift sunrise.

That's a lot of work but it's worth the time! You did a great job here :D

Those are outstanding! Let us know if you do any projects that would be available for sale. I am always looking for unique LOTR objects to purchase...I especially like wood & pottery. An engraven walking stick would be really cool, if you ever think of doing commissioned work!

Thanks, everyone, for the kind comments! :curtsey:

At the moment, I have several big projects on my workbench. When these are done, I may consider doing some projects for others.
I'll have to post some pictures of the Bag End that I'm working on.
No pictures of the two biggest projects until they're done, as they are gifts for my beau! :shhh:

Rosie -- I like the idea of the walking stick! Images dance in my head!

Ohh -- I wish I had time to take orders for this Christmas! At the moment, I think I'll be doing good if I can get the two big projects done by then!

Excellent work!!! I would love to purchase one of your boxes. They have so much character and are so unique I really think you could definitely make a business out of selling them. Let us know when you might start selling them!

You may not be sure, but WE sure are. It has been a while since this was posted (always late to the party, I am...) but they are exceptional and original. There is a market, should you decide to put some up for sale...

I'm sorry I missed seeing these the first time around... they are beautiful.
