Oh my.... what's this I see?

Post by Laiquendi » Mon Jun 06, 2011 7:52 am

Welcome, fellow Mysterious Travellers to the great and... well, mysterious... event that will for now and shall forever have been, was, when, and might be called...

The Lore of the Rings!
~Round 77~

or

He's Gone and Done It Again!

So, my fellow Mysterons, gather round and peer at the delights displayed before your bumbling minds! Let wisdom and intuition out the door as you delve deeper into the boggy mess of uncertainty, doubt, misinformation and orange-tasting jelly that looks like a fruit trifle!

Bow down and gasp in adoration, fear and laughter as you witness the awe-inspiring power that flows from the mind of the greatest to the mind of the weakest...
For now is the time to scrabble for victory as you face what may very well be the downfall of civilization, humanity, and the end of banana-dom everywhere.

Before you lies an assortment of answers. Answers so cunningly perceived that they wound back time in some-sort of timey-whimey, wibbly-wobbly moebius-like conflagration that in some weird convoluted way turned them into questions. Answers that are questions that need answers which are the questions to the answers! Each answer has unfortunately become a bit confused in the retelling and thus it falls to you, intrepid explorer to unravelled what you see before you now.

Helpfully, an example has been provided. Each of the 15 answers below relates to some person, object, place or thing from the Lord of the Rings, and the Hobbit books. You must send your corrected answers to Her Grand Mightiness, She Who Must Be Named Twice, The Honourable and Most Resplendant Middle-Earth Scribe at middleearthscribe@gmail.com by midnight UTC/2000 EDT/1700 PDT on Monday 20th June or 0200 CEST/0500 MST/0900 AWST/1400 NZDT on Tuesday 21st June.

Please do not post your Answers on the boards!

Fiendishly conceived tie-breakers (if any) will go out the following Wednesday.

Now on to the Answers/Questions/Answers!

The first picture is of someone Rowing, hence Row, the second picture is of Han Solo, hence Han - joined together they make Row-Han which sounds suspiciously similar to some Horsey-place down south....

What do you make of the following:

I've sent mine in! Really enjoyed doing this - though I stared at 5 and 14 for so long, that my eyes are now blurred!
